The Bruery Saison Rue

Bruery Saison Rue
The Bruery, Orange County, CA
Saison 8.5% ABV
This beer has a noticable funk from Brett, maybe not an intro beer.

A: Pours a hazy copper golden hue with a short but persistent off white head
S:  Aromas of sweet malts, marmalade, biscuits, tart apples, spice from Rye, Pepper, bubble gum, leather, and an earthy funk from Brett.
T:  Flavors of toasted malts, spice from rye, black pepper, grassy hops, earthen funk (from Brett) and finishes with a bright citrus zest. Slightly tart as well.
M: Medium bodied with bright lively carbonation, finishes dry and a little bitter.
D:  Very good food beer.
Food Pairings:  Sausages, cauliflower salad.  Lets try to find a WOW! pairing for this, test some things out.
