Stone, IRS Imperial Russian Stout

Stone, IRS 10.5% Imperial Russian Stout, 22oz bomber.
A: Pours a thick viscous black with a mocha head that sticks around
S: Big chocolate, burnt and roasted malts, hops underline it all, alcohol is present
T: Intense! The chocolate bitter not sweet, the malts are burnt and charred- think espresso but not rich. Anise is subtle, there is bitter malts and bitterness on the finish as well as alcohol.
M: Full bodied to the max and this beer will kill your palate, it’s heavy and well carbonated.
D: Thick, viscous, heavy, and strong. This is THE Imperial Russian Stout. This beer is only for someone that truly loves bitter or imperial stouts. It took me 2 hours to take down 1 bottle.
Food Pairings: Tri-tip, Smore's, Waffle and ice cream sando, caramel bacon sticky bun
