Russian River Salvation

Beer Advocate:  A

A: Pours a clear, dark chestnut color with a lofty light tan head that receded to leave a thin yet persistent foam. 
S:  Dark fruits(prunes, figs, raisins) belgian yeast, toasty caramel malts, spice phenols (cinnamon, clove, pepper, nutmeg)  
T:  Dark brown bread, brown sugar, dried dark fruits, fruity/spicy belgian yeast.
M: Med- heavy body with good carbonation and a long, sweet finish that lingers.
D: Definitely a sipper  but easily paired with a dessert.
Food Pairing:  Funnel cake fried bananas, ice cream sandwich
