Dogfish Head Black and Blue(Belgian Golden ), 10%ABV, 750mL, Beer Advocate B
A: Pours a clear reddish amber with a lofty off-white head (careful to not stir up sediment in bottle)
S: Smells of blueberries, blackberries and some grainy malts w/ a hint of Belgian yeast
T: Sweet berry across the palate first then moves a little tart before finishing with a nutty and caramel maltyness
M: Medium bodied w/ moderate carbonation and an ever so slightly dry finish
D: This is a great beer for anyone wanting something a bit unique. W/ 10% ABV its not quite a sipper, but goes down rather easily.
*Food Pairings: Rocket salad, dover sole schnitzel, Funnel Cake Bananas, Pot d’ Crème
